On the 29th of May we celebrated Canary Day at school where there were a wide variety of activities for the children to take part in as well as to learn about their culture. The children learned and played traditional games like: la Cogida, el Pañuelito y el Perrito bajo alto. The children also watched and learned about traditional Canarian dances like: La Caraqueña, La Punta y el Tacón y el Juego de las Islas.
Apart from traditional songs and dance, the children also learned about and had the chance to play traditional Canarian games like, el Boliche, el Clavo o la Raya.
After all this fun, the children had the opportunity to watch a lovely magic show by el Mago Garabato.
